compact flash on bsd

I have a CF to PCMCIA adapter. Do any of you know how to mount a CF
card through one of those on FreeBSD? Do I need anything special in
the kernel?  What would this device be called? I have a FreeBSD
4.5-RELEASE #0: murray at builder.freebsdmall.com:/usr/src/sys/compile/GENERIC i386
