Billy SG McCarthy <reshippie at yahoo.com> writes: > I'm looking for the connector to hook up my VGA > monitor to a Sun Ultra 1. Is there any place in the > area that I could get one? I used one of these to put a Sun box on a KVM switch at home. I've also seen these used at several places I've worked in the past. Every one I saw, from several different vendors, had the same problem: the top 48 scan lines on the monitor were always distorted, and I was never able to find a fix for it. I've assumed it's a fundamental incompatibility between VGA video and the type of video the Suns use. -- John Abreau / Executive Director, Boston Linux & Unix ICQ 28611923 / AIM abreauj / JABBER jabr at jabber.org / YAHOO abreauj Email jabr at blu.org / WWW http://www.abreau.net / PGP-Key-ID 0xD5C7B5D9 PGP-Key-Fingerprint 72 FB 39 4F 3C 3B D6 5B E0 C8 5A 6E F1 2C BE 99 Some people say, "The enemy of my enemy is my friend."
