When I looked, it appeared that Open Office has provisions for macros that execute upon opening documents, and I found no way to turn that feature off. I could be wrong, but do we know that Open Office is any more secure than Microsoft Office? -kb, the Kent who figures Open Office will get fixed faster when bugs are discovered.
