This is really a dumb question. On my laptop last night, I tried to mount a CF card with a pcmcia holder. However, I was unable to find the appropriate device. This was in slot 0. I was in a bit of a hurry. In any case, I have done this before (possibly on a different laptop, but the same release of SuSE (8.0 with a 2.4 kernel). I did run cardctl status and ident, and everything looked ok. -- Jerry Feldman <gaf at blu.org> Associate Director Boston Linux and Unix user group http://www.blu.org PGP key id:C5061EA9 PGP Key fingerprint:053C 73EC 3AC1 5C44 3E14 9245 FB00 3ED5 C506 1EA9
