From: "Wizard" <wizard at neonedge.com> Date: Sun, 17 Nov 2002 09:29:26 -0500 Those of us who are old enough to remember terms like Fido and UltraBoard may also remember how to create art from text. My personal opinion is that a well-formatted, well-written cover letter in text, and a targeted Word-format r)B?sum? will likely get the most attention. A lot of companies feed resumes through a search engine to do matching. That's a lot easier to do with text than with Word. -- Robert Krawitz <rlk at alum.mit.edu> Tall Clubs International -- http://www.tall.org/ or 1-888-IM-TALL-2 Member of the League for Programming Freedom -- mail lpf at uunet.uu.net Project lead for Gimp Print -- http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net "Linux doesn't dictate how I work, I dictate how Linux works." --Eric Crampton
