I tried this and it worked. So, cron is working, but the mail isn't getting out. I checked 'mailq' and it shows quite a few msgs... Next, I looked over my mail config file. Luckily, I use RCS and noticed there was a recent change in there that I had forgotten about. I use postfix and I changed the message_size_limit to be like 20 megs or something. After removing this change it all worked. Very odd that this would have an affect.
