Public end-user nameservers...

I was wondering for future reference does anyone know of a list of public
ally available DNS services (w/IPs)? Every time I've had problems with
Verizon it has been because their nameservers have been unavailable. I've
got the list for OpenNIC, but I'd like to have a few more just in case.
