Lilo not available when booting.

Subject: Lilo not available when booting.

Installed Win Me.  Now  Lilo is no where to be seen.  I did a lilo via a
local terminal but to no avail.  How do I get lilo to load?  I'm ruining
red hat Linux 8.0.  Thank you all.
