In my C language class, I post CYGWIN as one of the methods for someone to get a free C compiler. And one of my students just got Red Hat on his laptop. I was wondering if there is a decent low cost book that they could get to bootstrap them. I think once they start using either Linux or Cygwin, things will fall into place. The guy with Red Hat wants to print the man pages. I think a small cliff notes type of handbook might be better for him. I gave them pointers to the Linux documentation project and man page htmls. -- Jerry Feldman <gaf at blu.org> Boston Linux and Unix user group http://www.blu.org PGP key id:C5061EA9 PGP Key fingerprint:053C 73EC 3AC1 5C44 3E14 9245 FB00 3ED5 C506 1EA9 -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
