I think that you might be able to run ACT under WINE of Crossover Office. Essentially, ACT is a contact manager. A quick search of Freshmeat: http://freshmeat.net/projects/cmgr/ This was one of a few. For occasional use, I simply use jpilot, but nearly any PIM will work. Depends how you want to use it.
