They need someone to write simple data-entry Java web applications to store stuff into SQL-based databases and to maintain these databases. The City of Boston got a grant from the CDC for Emergency Preparedness. This is part of this project. I'm not certain what platform they are thinking of (Linux, Unix, or other), but it sounds like a ground-level opportunity where those decisions could be made. The one caveat is that you either have to be a resident of Boston or be willing to relocate to Boston for the job. Anyway, if you are interested, e-mail your resume to David Bibo at bibo at bostonems dawt org If anyone knows of any Unix/Linux/Solaris/Tru64 system administration or programming jobs, drop me an e-mail! (My resume is available on my web site.) - -- mailto:robert_brown at acm.org http://www.purl.org/net/robert-brown (510) 273-2427 / (617) 499-8690 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iQEVAwUBPs5DdL6GvzyE86xtAQE2hAf/cztvvc3N5W+KvBIHbYIjkp6Q6ov8eB8A kahyYBVVEMDMIQduu8MCtqBZVVMYTnBfzakWyvTCe9iEX2JZfjlYrb+KjZk0+TxM DOhzukJfL/kcFecPtiCiuQoKAGQrCoFivyPfQoykDPrqIIBOcixitcmr6oKdJUz1 BT6a4LS2wdbRVGt96maY/GfJ+0GIMvYk2cW3ccnk4phRhaoag3MEsgI663aTm2sV eBG9X0/GQZIz6pSHSz19xt7976MGnuKZ/iEmYLkUqGU7U8qmXF1sNvOvUQEb3gxF fOVynLQfFevmSTfvkooqQ3yQGH75wspMEO47/yRZsYZpDzNN4nleKA== =z8Rw -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
