Hopefully. ;-) FWIW, I compiled your code on my system with no modifications, compiled with the same options (though I specified the name of the compiler as gcc rather than cc, out of habit), and then ran it passing the key and salt in the right order, and it worked perfectly for me. -- Derek D.
