Dice.com recently told me about a programming job opening up in their Network Management & Reporting group, and based on the qualifications they list, I think I'm a very good fit for the job. However, based on past experience, about two hundred other people will read the same job listing and think the same thing, so I want to do everything I can to maximize my chances. I'm looking for someone who works for Akamai who is willing to (a) take my resume and cover letter to the appropriate authorities; (b) give me more information about the job, the group, and the hiring manager, so that I can write an effective cover letter and put my best foot forward at an interview. If you can help me make a connection with such a person, I would be extremely grateful, and if the connection leads to a job offer, I would provide you with some concrete expression of my gratitude, such as Godiva chocolates. adTHANKSvance, -- "It's more important to make the compiler smarter, because you'll never ever manage to make all the programmers smarter." --Tom Christiansen :: seth gordon :: sethg at ropine.com :: blog http://dynamic.ropine.com/yo/ :: homepage http://ropine.com/ :: resume http://ropine.com/sethg/cv.html
