Subject: [ma-linux] Netgear equipment is DDoS'ing the University of
Wisconsin
Several Netgear products were (are) configured to use the University of
Wisconsin's time server -- which has resulted in an unintentional
Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack on the University of
Wisconsin: http://www.cs.wisc.edu/~plonka/netgear-sntp/
Whether it's in the office or at home, anybody with Netgear equipment
should check to see if their model is one of the culprits, and if so
upgrade your firmware:
