>From what I've seen based on the group of folks that I personally know, it seems to be getting better. The calls are slowly starting again, however most seem to have quit looking in the consulting arenas as it's just too damn volatile. A few guys have left the industry, others have secured "9-5" type jobs, but the majority are still looking. On a related note, I'm heading out of the (ahem) self-employed arena starting Monday; after 7 separate interviews and the background check from hell, I secured a position as a Senior Security Analyst for a 'Large Financial.' So it would seem for some the view is changing, while for others the landscape is still quite bleak. --Tim On Fri, 26 Sep 2003 at 09:56 -0400 Michael Webb was heard to utter: MW> From: Michael Webb <mwebb at sdmc.com> MW> To: discuss at blu.org MW> Date: Fri, 26 Sep 2003 09:56:44 -0400 MW> Subject: Sorry to bring it up again ..
