Dell Latitude D600 Redhat 9 Modem

I am attempting to get the internal modem on the D600 to work. The modem is
a Conexant D480MDC. I have tried the drivers from www.linuxant.com
<http://www.linuxant.com/> , which I understand are the only drivers because
this is an HSF winmodem. If anyone has had any success it would be greatly
appreciated. I am just starting to learn linux right now, so the simpler the
instructions are the better.
