Learning C++ and Fortran

Subject: Learning C++ and Fortran

I'm looking for recommendations for books to teach myself C++ and Fortran.
I have Windows and UNIX machines available to me.

I have some programming experience, including an associates in computer
science from 1994, but I have always avoided the practice.  I want to
change that now.
