If you relly want to get your hands dirty (and do a a one setting for all thing) you can muck about in the Backend DB. I am using a P3-550 with a bt878 (WinTV Theatre), its not fast enough to do live TV, but its suitable enough to record programs for a later viewing. MythTV is a beautiful thing. Since we are on the subject of PVRs, is there some reason that some shows do a nice 4GB/hour, while different shows with the same settings can do upwards of 10GB+? ~Ben
