Throw a few 100GB hard drives on and IDE RAID controller and run RAID 5. It's faster, cheaper, and more reliable than just about anything. For extra redundancy, replicate to an off-site duplicate. You'll need to replace a drive every so often, but so long as you do nothing monumentally stupid (or have a multi-site meltdown), your data's in good shape. Keep your off-site dup in a bunker to ensure against nukes (I'm not joking, if it's a concern)... -- Derek D.
