dual boot with ME failing

Kalyan,

You mentioned that your machine was setup with two disks.  Is Windows ME 
installed on the first disk or the second?  It sounds like it's trying to 
boot off of the disk that windows is NOT installed on.

If windows is on the secondary disk, try swapping them.  Linux can run 
fine from a disk other than the primary, but I'm not sure if windows can.
