Slightly OT: linksys befsr41 and comcast

Not exactly a Linux question. but anyways. About 2 weeks ago, I updated my
linksys BEFSR41 v2 to firmwar version 1.45.11. Since then I get a DHCP lease
for 2 hours from comcast and after it doesn't renew it. I either have to
power cycle the router or use the dhcp renew button on one of the router
pages.

Comcast says we can't help you, if you have a router. Linksys says, I have to
connect a PC direct, that they can check the lease. This is a real pain with
comcast since I need to clone the mac address first.

Has anyone else experienced that or any ideas what to do next?

Have a wonderful Sunday.

Chris
