Strange. I did a dig and used affordablehost.com as the name server and everything came out ok. I then quit when it asked me for a password. What you probably need to do is to track down using dig or nslookup which name server is messing up. Check your resolv.conf file, and check those specifically as servers. Note that below I checked the authority section, then the primary name server (north.affordablehost.com). dig -t SOA telesto.affordablehost.com ; <<>> DiG 9.2.2 <<>> -t SOA telesto.affordablehost.com ;; global options: printcmd ;; Got answer: ;; ->>HEADER<<- opcode: QUERY, status: NOERROR, id: 29069 ;; flags: qr rd ra; QUERY: 1, ANSWER: 0, AUTHORITY: 1, ADDITIONAL: 0 ;; QUESTION SECTION: ;telesto.affordablehost.com.
