Thank you, Jeff: I wasn't kidding about using linux millions of years ago. But I am not even average when it comes to ethernet's, LAN's, and even making a modem connection work. (And this was why I stopped using Linux -- I couldn't connect to the outside world.) My linux box was very very stand-alone. And as it happen's, I don't know what IP masquerading is. (I went to the HOW-TO.)
