Linux based accounting system

Hmm...  depending on what features of peachtree they use (or require),
gnucash may or may not actually work for them.  Doesn't hurt to at
least take a look.  I don't know if they require multiuser support or
what kind of transaction level they have.  Gnucash's multi-user support
is somewhat lacking, but it's hopefully going to improve significantly
in the next major release (*fingers crossed*).

Another option is SQL-Ledger, but I've not been all that impressed by
the interface.
