There has been a discussion on the BUG member list about software that will allow the screen to be displayed in real time to remote users. possibly a way of broadcasting the display, like setting export DISPLAY=*:0.0 The intent is to allow a user group to broadcast a presentation. Here is Pat Tormey's initial request: --------------------------------------------- Hey BUG members I'm looking for a tool that will support "projecting" UG meeting to a remote audience both real time or asynchronously. The Idea is to allow members to attend virtually with two way discussions and/or allow meeting downloads for later viewing. I don't think real time video streaming of the presenter is that important I'd be content if we could capture the computer screen and audio. Anybody know a place to start my search? ------------------------------------------------ One person suggestion possibly M$ Live Meeting. -- Jerry Feldman <gaf at blu.org> Boston Linux and Unix user group http://www.blu.org PGP key id:C5061EA9 PGP Key fingerprint:053C 73EC 3AC1 5C44 3E14 9245 FB00 3ED5 C506 1EA9 -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
