-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Oh lord it looks like I'm going to be sued. :) - -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Re: I need someone to put machine's together, to build the rack, to do the wiring, all this stuff. Date: Sat, 10 Jul 2004 13:32:51 -0400 From: julesg at newebmail.com <julesg at newebmail.com> To: Eric <235u at comcast.net> References: <29296.64.119.142.34.1092241521.squirrel at mail.mohawksoft.com> <411A50B2.3060308 at comcast.net> Eric, the only thing you've said that is true is that I don't have the machines. *now* I don't. But if you had read what I wrote even somewhat carefully you would have read that I don't claim to have the machines now. (I do have a smaller set of boxes, six machines running 1400Mhz, and four others machines providing various other services.) Another thing, I have never said that I've used Linux since 1991. I did use it then, but went to OS2 in '94 or early '95. And since this may get talked about in more formal circumstances, since 2001 I've used FreeBSD. (In fact, the fellow who introduced me to this group put them together for me.) Eric, I notice you live in Massahcusetts. I have the email that you and I have passed and I don't think any of it can possibly be seen as offensive to you or even the slightest bit disrespectful. Apparently you were not happy to accept my consulting offer and that is your privilege. But I make you this promise, today or tomorrow I will visit with someone who will explain what my legal options are. Reading what you've written, I am not at all sure you are wise, so let me encourage you to see a lawyer. That's what I am going to do. And Eric, this letter is to you and not to the group. If my lawyer decides that I have a legal claim of damages against you, and that it's feasible to pursue, then you will find yourself being sued. And this is a promise!
