AIX architecture problems

Your options appear to be PowerPC. There is a common set of
instructions, but if some of the libraries are built with the old RS6000
you are going to have the incompatibility. Try using the -mpower option
(or one of the other powerpc options). GCC can be a real pain on
multiple architectures.
