A quick question came up where a friend of mine needs to access a Windows XP professional system where the admin password is unknown (due to a disgruntled employee). There are some spreadsheets and possible customer information on that system that need to be extracted. Question 1. Does Knoppix 3.4 have NTFS(R/O) support built-in. If not, is there a stand-alone CD Linux or other that has NTFS support so that the company can get the spreadsheets et. al. Normally, when an employee leaves, a good practice is to completely back up the system then reinstall before giving it to another employee. -- Jerry Feldman <gaf at blu.org> Boston Linux and Unix user group http://www.blu.org PGP key id:C5061EA9 PGP Key fingerprint:053C 73EC 3AC1 5C44 3E14 9245 FB00 3ED5 C506 1EA9 -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
