-------------- next part --------------
Hi
Does anyone know the cause of the following error :
$ cdrecord --scanbus

Cdrecord-Clone 2.01a28 (i686-pc-linux-gnu) Copyright (C) 1995-2004 J?rg Schilling
cdrecord: No such file or directory. Cannot open '/dev/pg*'. Cannot open SCSI driver.
cdrecord: For possible targets try 'cdrecord -scanbus'. Make sure you are root.
cdrecord: For possible transport specifiers try 'cdrecord dev=help'.

I'm running '2.4.25-gentoo-r3' and lsmod produces:
$ lsmod
Module Size Used by Tainted: P
ide-scsi                9104   0
sg                     27132   0  (autoclean) (unused)
usbcore                37348   0  (unused)
nvidia               1630464  11

Which other module needs to be compiled/loaded into the kernel?

thanks
