Not really, I admin'd a bunch of Indigo's and O2's for a Boss that thought they were top of the line (and this was last year), he didn't believe a video card manufactured last year could outperform his O2's. Constantly complained to me that the system was slow and that I should 'fix it'. He didn't undrestand that a 150mhz MIPS system was going to be slow as dirt compared to any PC made in the last 5 years, not to mention his shiney G4 powerbook. Anyways, IRIX is a pain, I wouldn't run it unless I had a specific application that required it (which was the case at that job). And I do personally own a Indigo2, and to prove how useful it is, it sits in the basement of my workspace gathering dust. -miah On Thu, Sep 09, 2004 at 01:52:27PM -0700, Eric wrote: > > --- miah <jjohnson at sunrise-linux.com> wrote: > > > They make great foot rests or door stops, and in the > > winter they make > > great foot warmers. > > > > -miah > > I'm sure you're right, but oh man ain't they pretty. > http://www.sgi.com/products/remarketed/o2/ > > ===== > D.
