For electrical outlet reasons, we run all our VOIP adapters on people's desks -- this also lets them take them home or travelling -- but they certainly operate through normal office wiring. Ask the VOIP company about supplied REN -- ringer equivalence numbers -- and you can load up with up to that REN-load of phones. > - I have DSL, not cable.
