Ask them; they're selling the service you want in our neighborhood. The impression I get is that the basic service costs about the same as DSL + POTS, and any saving is from free long-distance calls. If they can do it in your neighborhood, and you make many long-distance calls, you'll probably save money. Of course, they don't have an incentive to make sure that you save very much money ... ;-)
