Several years ago, I contemplated switching from exmh to Evolution, but I decided against it because it would have required a great deal of work to convert my MH hierarchy over to one of Evolution's formats. I decided to use Sylpheed Claws instead. At work, I started with Evolution, but it was not able to access HP's LDAP server, so I switched to KMail. I believe that the LDAP issue has since been solved. But, I'm still considering moving to Evolution on my home system. While I have no problems with Sylpheed Claws, there are some nice features of Evolution. My question is has anyone successfully switched to Evolution from another client where you had an MH hierarchy. There is a pretty decent discussion that recommends converting to Maildir format then pointing evolution at Maildir. I'm just looking for people who have done it.
