Though how anybody can use an editor that doesn't have a built-in PIM, email program, 3-way diff, and Tetris, is beyond me. How primitive. ;) In reality, I use kate for some of my editing, emacs for most of the rest, and vi when I know I can go in and bang through some quick edits. There are lots of time where editing in vi is faster than emacs.
