I just noticed that Microsoft has used the acronym 'RMS' to stand for 'Rights Management Services'[1]. That has got to drive the real RMS nuts. Well, actually, I can't speak for him, but it kinda drives me nuts because it seems like they are using their marketing dollars in a thinly veiled personal affront to their nemesis. Still, if you google for 'rms', the first result is a link to rms' homepage[2]. Maybe the fsf should launch a project that preserves individual rights to access technology and call the project 'No Gates'. :-) [1] http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windowsserv/2003/all/rms/en-us/Operations_6.mspx [2] http://www.stallman.org/
