Comcast and DVB

Is it possible to watch "unencrypted" digital cable with Comcast using 
DVB (w/QAM enabled)?  If so, dvbscan wants initial tuning data or at 
least one transponder/channel.  What do I need to feed it for arguments 
to get it to work?  I have a HD-3000 card.
