This makes no difference, really. There are a number of Windows GUI programs that work EXACTLY like Windows FTP clients, but enable you to access an SFTP server. Most of them do both FTP and SFTP. Check out FileZilla, for one. There are others. Encrypted FTP is kind of a hack, and it needs to be supported by both the client and the server. Most of the servers that ship with Linux systems don't, but I think WS-FTP server does. You need a client that supports it too. -- Derek D.
