It's an interesting issue since the phone companies are trying to fight VOIP tooth and nail. Today, the bottom line is that consumers are starting to use VOIP as their home phone to replace POTS, and it is a reasonable replacement in many cases. And, VOIP is being marketed as such. So, people go out and buy VOIP for $25/Mo or less unlimited calls, without reading the fine print. Additionally, many people are using cell phones as their only phone service. -- Jerry Feldman <gaf at blu.org> Boston Linux and Unix user group http://www.blu.org PGP key id:C5061EA9 PGP Key fingerprint:053C 73EC 3AC1 5C44 3E14 9245 FB00 3ED5 C506 1EA9
