Senior Level Systems Administrator, preferably with experiece in a hosting environment. Position is involves being a key part of a team that performs operational support of UNIX in multiple large and heterogeneous server environments. Experience with Linux and open source applications is a must, as that is the core focus in most of the environments. Experience providing operations and application support in a high-availability environment is required. The environment is exciting, fast-paced, and full of new challenges. Candidate should be comfortable interacting with customers, project managers, and other teams. Candidate needs to have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects. Having substantial experience in many of the following areas is critical: Apache, Tomcat, Open-source solutions, Sendmail, Postfix, BIND, Linux clustering, shell and/or Perl scripting, NFS, storage appliances (NetApp, Sun, others) , LDAP (OpenLDAP, SunOne), MySQL, Oracle, Wikis, PHP, ticketing systems, and other open-source applications.
