Xauth question.

I am logging in to a system (RHEL 3) and I receive the message:
Warning: No xauth data; using fake authentication data for X11 forwarding.

My log in is very convoluted:
Web to a Citrix Metaframe server then exceed using Putty to the first
system. I then ssh to the second system. The second system is not running
an X server (eg. it is running at run level 3). I have no problem running
X-based apps, such as xload or xeyes.

The problem is more of a pain where it executed the ~/.profile, but not the
~/.bashrc.

I then source the .bashrc successfully and I can also run a subshell with no
problems.
