Damn you, I just spent about three hours researching that puppy! It's now 2:20 and I have to be up at 6:30. Very impressive device with some very serious deficits, if you're not trying to use it for exactly what it's intended for. > >> My must-have needs are: >> - Good PDA (PIM) software. > > Haven't tried them, but there are 2 stable ports: DejaPIM and GPE PIM suite. DejaPIM does not sync with Linux, only Windows. GPE is *very* primitive. Neither comes with the unit, so they are not supported. This is very much not a PDA. It's very cool, and it has great potential. If the hardware had a suspend mode, I would consider buying it and hoping the software would get better. > This is the application catalog: > http://maemo.org/maemowiki/ApplicationCatalog > The work-in-progress catalog: > http://maemo.org/maemowiki/ApplicationCatalogWip > The wishlist catalog: > http://maemo.org/maemowiki/ApplicationCatalogWishlist (other responces elided) Ward, thanks for all the great info. Do you go to the BLU meetings (Sorry, I'm dreadful at associating faces and names)? Would you be willing to bring it to a meeting to show me/show it off to the class for Show And Tell?
