 I didn't have an acoustic coupler modem but thought about getting one.  
I waited a while and got a Hayes Smartmodem 1200.  I had an Atari 800 
w/24k and a tape drive!  I guess I would be Matthew Broderick because 
many people have told me that I look like him.
