I have a domain name (laymusic.org) with my web space provider (hostrocket), and a static IP address from Speakeasy. So what I do is ask hostrocket to do the DNS that says my speakeasy IP is serpent.laymusic.org, and speakeasy does the reverse DNS that causes the mail I send from my desktop computer not to bounce. I could of course send the mail via either the speakeasy or the hostrocket server, but it seems to be simpler to just send my own. -- Laura (mailto:lconrad at laymusic.org , http://www.laymusic.org/ ) (617) 661-8097 fax: (501) 641-5011 233 Broadway, Cambridge, MA 02139
