Virtual hosting & cheap colo -- lost the link!

I had no luck searching for archives, and realized I haven't been 
delivering this list through my gmail (searchable) flow, so...

A few months ago, there was a detailed thread on inexpensive virtual 
hosting outfits. In particular, someone mentioned they're using an 
outfit that will rent you a PHYSICAL box with 40GB drive, 512M RAM for 
something like $20-30 mo. Of course, now I want the info and can't find it.

I'd appreciate it if someone could respond with a link. Also, is there a 
searchable functional archive of this list somewhere?
