-------- Original Message -------- Subject: A real hackable cellphone Date: Tue, 15 Aug 2006 11:28:59 -0400 To: boston-pda at primordialsoft.com http://www.linuxdevices.com/news/NS8030785497.html This is some highly interesting news coming out of the LinuxWorld Expo going on now: the announcement that next month there will be a Linux- enabled, GSM- and WiFi-enabled, totally open cellphone being shipped as part of a developer kit to kickstart the Linux mobile phone scene. (Dual-core XScale? I always wanted a multiprocessor phone!)
