At the recent BLU meeting that focused on MIT Roofnet and mesh networking, Bob Keyes mentioned that he was developing some nodes suitable for placement outdoors, using Linux and Roofnet-based open source software. As an update, below is a message Bob posted to the Boston Area Wireless Internet Alliance (bawia.org) email list. - Steve Ronan ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Thu, 31 Aug 2006 10:30:19 -0400 (EDT) From: Bob Keyes <bob at sinister.com> To: bawia at bawia.org Subject: Re: mesh models list posted From: Bob Keyes <bob at sinister.com> To: bawia at bawia.org Subject: mesh models list posted Hi all, I've posted up the list of mesh models, with descriptions and pricing. see http://xa.net/SML_line.html The web page is still pretty primitive, especially in lacking eye-candy, but it is meant to be informative rather than pretty. I haven't been able to do range testing yet, so if you need those figures, you'll have to wait a bit longer. -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.
