Additionally, someone had trouble with Buffalo stuff too. Both Netgear and Linksys have a variety of print servers starting about $55 mail order. Some have wireless capabilities. Nearly all have USB 2.0, and some have parallel ports. Example: Linksys PSUS4 PrintServer for USB with 4 Port Switch is under $60 at Amazon. the wireless versions are about $10 more, but may be good for a laptop. none of the print servers on Amazon had more than 3 out of 5 stars. In the past I have used both Netgear and Linksys equipment with a lot of success. Additionally, D-Link is ok. I've seen mixed results with their equipment, but not really first hand. -- Jerry Feldman <gaf at blu.org> Boston Linux and Unix user group http://www.blu.org PGP key id:C5061EA9 PGP Key fingerprint:053C 73EC 3AC1 5C44 3E14 9245 FB00 3ED5 C506 1EA9 -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.
