linux friendly ethernet card



Install linux on his computer? :) ... I am guessing that is not the  
answer you want...

Get just about any old ethernet card, preferably a 3Com, make it an  
additional NIC with a separate IP address, and let this person connect  
through it.  That way everyone else gets the use of your gigabit  
adapter.
