Has anyone else noticed that Comcast's lease times for dhcp addresses has gone down significantly? The lease time used to be on the order of days at a time. I was able to keep the same IP address for 2 years, even with several extended downtimes for upgrades to my server box. Recently, the lease time is less than an hour. Anyone have ideas on why they would do that? Or is it just me? Matt -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.
