Problems with DVD upgrade

Jay,

That message is normal when you attempt to mount blank media. While
/etc/fstab is configured not to mount the disk on entry gnome or kde might
be handling the mounting automatically.

This message should not actually cause a problem with trying to burn a
dvd. Can you give some information on what happens when you try to burn
the DVD itself?
